By creating an account or using Apex Lane (apexlane.fit) you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What Apex Lane is

A tool for logging food, planning training and tracking weight. It's currently offered to invited users and may change or be withdrawn at any time.

Not medical advice

Apex Lane is not medical, dietetic or fitness advice. Calorie and nutrient figures come from third-party databases and user contributions and may be incomplete or wrong, and suggested targets are general estimates. Talk to a doctor or accredited practising dietitian before changing your diet or exercise, especially if you have a health condition, are pregnant, or have a history of disordered eating.

Your account

• Give accurate details and keep your password secret. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• You must be at least 18.
• Invite codes are for people you know. Don't post yours publicly, and don't try to access other people's accounts or data.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no attacking, scraping or overloading it, reverse-engineering the API to bypass limits, uploading unlawful content, or adding false food information on purpose. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

Your content

You own what you log. You give us permission to store and process it to run the service for you. If you contribute a barcode product, you allow us to share that product information with other users. If you share a workout in the Members area, you allow other members to view it and keep their own copy, and you confirm it's yours to share and isn't harmful or misleading. You can take it back at any time.

Third-party data and connections

Food data comes from the FSANZ Australian Food Composition Database (CC BY 4.0), Open Food Facts (ODbL) and fatsecret. Connecting Google Health is optional and is also subject to Google's terms. See our Privacy Policy for how that data is handled.

Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is", without promises that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copy of anything important by using Export. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end the service or an account, with notice where reasonable.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do; continuing to use Apex Lane means you accept the update. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
